Matt has over 15 years' experience in the oil and gas industry including FEED, detailed fabrication, testing, installation and commissioning of offshore and onshore pipelines, subsea hardware and structures.
He has experience in tender preparation and evaluation, feasibility studies, assurance reviews, procurement packages, and subcontractor's management.
Matt has been involved in the conceptual stage through to detailed fabrication and installation of a number of subsea and pipeline projects in shallow and deepwater areas in Europe, Australia, South East Asia, West Africa and the Middle East.
Niccolo has over 15 years of experience in the field of non-destructive examination, he is ISO9712 Level 3 certified in Ultrasonic Testing, with specialisation in advanced inspection techniques PAUT and TOFD, radiographic testing, magnetic particle testing, liquid penetrant testing and visual testing.
He has been involved in the qualification of various types of Phased Array ultrasonic equipment on carbon steel, Corrosion Resistant Alloy (CRA) and Duplex materials. He provides expert advice on non-destructive testing and independent crosschecking during production.
Niccolo has been involved in the testing & installation of offshore & onshore pipelines, and subsea structures in Europe, Australia, The Gulf of Mexico, and West Africa.
Lawrie graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2001 with majors in Human Resource Management and Social Ecology.
Since this time she has worked in Ireland, Scotland, France and Australia including for Tasmania's premier Human Resources company and as Account Manager for a major multi-lingual call centre operation based in Scotland. Lawrie worked for construction company Laing O'Rourke in both Brisbane and Perth as a Recruiter and Training Team Leader, prior to moving to SPEC.
As our Operations Manager, Lawrie manages all aspects of the daily business activities including commercial, client relationships, HR, mobilisation of personnel, administration and the management of SPEC ISO-9001 Quality Management Systems.
